Created as a proof of concept micro-short for the Shortcuts to Hell Competition, in which filmmakers were asked to submit a short idea for a feature length film. Sponsored by The Horror Channel, Movie Mogul, Frightfest Film Festival and Wildseed Studios.

The Porcelain Ground was shortlisted to the semi-finals.

The Porcelain Ground was selected as part of the final Shortcuts to Hell anthology and released on iTunes.
