Created as a proof of concept microshort for the Shortcuts to Hell Vol.2 Competition in which filmmakers were asked to submit a 3 minute short showcasing an idea for a feature length film. The Horror Channel, Movie Mogul, Frightfest Film Festival and Wildseed Studios sponsored the competition.

The Porcelain Ground was selected as one of the final nine upon which a pitch meeting was held.

The Porcelain Ground was selected as part of the final anthology and released on iTunes.
